About this piece
A lift-off lid rather than a hinged one, for the simple reason that hinges rust first. The body is pressed slightly wider at the top so the lid drops in without sticking.

Material & care
Vitreous enamel on 1.2mm steel. Dishwasher safe, oven safe to 230°C, freezer safe. Not microwave safe. Avoid metal utensils and steel wool to keep the glaze glossy.
